They didn't arrive on a runway. According to Vazzari lore, they came down after dark: six characters who were never from here, looking for something warm to wear on a cold planet. That's the story behind Born On Mars: VZI Essence Knitwear, the house's embroidered knitwear capsule.
Who came down
There are six of them, each worked into a knitted crew neck with futuristic embroidery:
- Brunette, the "Martian muse"
- Duck
- Elephant
- Horse
- Rabbit
- Tiger
How they dress on Earth
Earth is colder than they expected, so the knit is heavy: 450 g/m² in a soft-feel 55% cotton, 45% polyester blend. Unisex sizing runs from 3XS to 3XL. The product page notes the knit may shrink slightly after the first wash. On Earth they wear it over dark, expensive-looking jeans with a proper leather belt, for late dinners, cold queues and colder stares.
Why there are no spares
Nothing from Mars is mass-produced. Every knit is £110 and made to order, so there are no unsold piles and less waste. Returns are free for 30 days.
